Many Events in the 2024 PGA Tour FedEx Fall Series Have Reduced Prize Funds

The PGA Tour FedEx Fall Series 2024 consists of 8 exciting tournaments spread over 11 weeks. The primary goal for most participating golfers is to earn membership for the 2025 PGA Tour season. However, it is noteworthy that the total prize money has significantly decreased compared to last year.

Among the 8 events, there is one new tournament, the Black Desert Championship in Utah. Of the 7 returning tournaments from 2023, only 1 has an increased prize fund, 1 remains the same, while the other 5 will have lower total prize money.

  • Total Prize Fund: $8.5 million (unchanged)
  • Winner’s Prize: $1.53 million (unchanged)
World Wide Technology Championship
  • Total Prize Fund: $7.2 million (down from $8.2 million)
  • Winner’s Prize: $1.296 million (down $180,000)
Butterfield Bermuda Championship
