BRG Kings Island Golf Resort

BRG Kings Island Golf Resort is a 55 hole golf resort in the outskirts of Hanoi. The golf resort lies on the shores of the Dong Mo reservoir 36 kilometers from Hanoi. At only 45 minutes drive from the capital, King’s Island is high quality and convenient choice to include in any North Vietnam golf package. Access to the course is by boat, or car in the case of the Kings Course. The island golf complex situated site comprises 350 hectares of land and 1,500 hectares of waterfront.
The Kings Course is the newest 19 at Kings Island. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened for play in 2018 all 18 holes feature a modern resort style layout. Wide fairways with intricate bunker complexes characterize each hole. More open as compared to both the Lakeside and Mountainview Courses, the Kings Course is the best choice for club golfers. That said the 7,310-yard layout is no pushover for the more accomplished players. Accurate shots into the greens are needed to score well. Some of the best holes include the 196 yard fourth and 232-yard seventeenth. Both are par-3’s and play to severely bunkered greens.
King's Island has two others 18 hole golf courses. The Lakeside Course opened in 1993 and the Mountain view Course opened in Oct – 2004. King's Island is the first 36 hole facility in Northern Vietnam. The facilities include a fully air-conditioned clubhouse & restaurant, driving range with putting greens & practice bunker, pro shop, swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and boat dock.

Lakeside was designed by American Golf Course Architect, Robert McFarland, who has been involved in designing championship golf courses around the world including Mission Hills California. He specializes in challenging designs using local terrain and natural hazards.

Lakeside includes numerous and varied uses of the water surrounding the course and the gently sloping terrain. Water is in play on 14 of the 18 holes. Nature herself has created a superb setting for this very challenging 6,454 Yards, Par 72 course.

The 18 hole Mountain view Course is Par 72 playing 7100 yards. It was designed by Pacific Coast Design Pty. Ltd. Based in Melbourne, Australia. Pacific Coast has been involved in site planning & golf design for over 18 years and has completed major projects in India, Malaysia, China, Thailand & Australia. The course is designed to fit the setting’s natural contours. The design takes maximum advantage of the ambience of the waterside setting, distant mountains and surrounding trees. The layout of the golf course will excite and challenge all levels of players.The Mountain view Course includes a new clubhouse, boat dock and driving range with a putting green & practice bunker. Outside player use will be restricted during peak hours on the weekend.
New Clubhouse: The operation of the new clubhouse has complemented Kings’ Island as an exclusive Golf Resort. Members are able to utilize Clubhouse Facilities, Golf Lodge, Swimming Pool,  Sauna, Jacuzzi and more all operated to international standards.

Clubhouse Restaurant: The Clubhouse Restaurant offers a wide menu to cater for a variety of international tastes and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. While you relax in air-conditioned comfort our large screen satellite TV’s will keep you up-to-date with international sports and current affairs.

Changing and Locker Rooms: The fully air-conditioned changing rooms are a welcome sight after playing. With over 350 lockers, large golfing groups are welcome. Members may store their golf bags for no extra charge. Golf Equipment is available for rental.

Pro-Shop and Practice Range Facilities: Members have access to a fully equipped Pro-Shop and Driving Range. Our Pro shop carries a range of equipment, apparel, balls, tees, clubs and other Golf products . The covered driving range allows you to sharpen your game with 2 separate Putting Greens and a Practice Bunker. Golfing members are entitled to discounted vouchers for range balls.
